Autumn

We had the first day of autumn. No shock or surprise - the leaves have been hinting at red and yellow and brown for some weeks now. The trees across the river from my office are my gauge.

As drear as most of the work I do is, I always seem to pick places with lovely views. I think the setting of my work is more important to me than the work itself.
