Chinese proverb

"The miracle is not to fly in the air, or to walk on the water, but to walk on the earth."

I forget where I read this, but I was in a mood where it set my mind aflame. I was also dictionarying like it was no thang this week. Forget a bible, I want to take a dictionary to my desert island.

miracle - event that appears inexplicable (as opposed to the fact that *all* events *are* so, even if that isn't apparent) by the laws of nature (which is itself inexplicable), held to be supernatural in origin, or an act of God
